Our History
Founded in 2025 by a group of lion members in sivakasi, Lions Sports Foundation started with a simple state-level badminton tournament. Driven by the overwhelming response and the sheer lack of professional platforms for young athletes, we expanded our horizons.
Over the years, we have successfully organized over 20 major tournaments across various disciplines including badminton, cricket, and athletics. Our flagship event, the Lions Sivakasi Open, has grown to become one of the most prestigious badminton championships in the state.
Today, we pride ourselves on having touched the lives of over 1,000 players, supported by a network of 500+ dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors.
